January 31, 2012: Family!!

My Beloved family! How is everyone doing? I sure hope good. I am doing just FANTASTIC and couldnt be loving life more then I am right now. Super happy and loving the work of the Lord. I have a new companion now. Elder Flores. He is from El Salvador! And yes he is mijo, mi hijo, or my son.. HAHA I had him at nine months.. Kinda weird how that works huh? haha Well actually he was early. He came two days early of my nine month mark! haha and well he is AWESOME. I love him with all my heart and we work real hard together! We havent really had a normal day to work yet but its been great working together! Last Jueves was a our first day together and I went on divisions to the mission offices for a meeting of the new District leaders. Not sure why.. haha Oh because im a new district leader. I know kind of weird i still dont believe it but I have truly been blessed by the Lord to be able to serve as District leader and Trainer and the for got to relieve me as the retention leader as well so for right now I have three assignments hahaha.. But im alright to do all three it will be great but alot of stress perhaps haha! But anywho thursday was full with that meeting so that was sad couldnt work with him that much that day friday and saturday. I had my first two baptismal interviews! Wow crazy.. haha I was super nervous! But when I was in the actual interview it was super great. The two of them were super ready to be baptized so it was an honor to conduct their interviews! Great stuff! Well yesterday was another meeting in the offices and so that was fun with all the new missionaries but we didnt get Pday but oh well. haha Then tomorrow we have meetings for leaders and thursday so we arent going to get a normal day together until friday! kind of sad but that life I guess! cant wait! Well I am loving being a missionary and couldnt be happier! Hope you all are doing so well and hope you all know I love you all so much and I hope to hear from you all super soon.... Not sure why but I feel like this weekend youll write? maybe its because of some kind of football game.. Well I guess im thankful for the super bowl because you all right missionaries this day! yay! haha well Kind of crazy this past week and this week that im about to have so wish me luck and pray for my investigators I have a enough blessings for now haha Love you all and also Today was my first District meeting! I talked about Diligence! Gotta be diligent always! Love you all and pray for you all! Dont worry about packages. They are nice but its not something to stress over! I love you all though! But if you could I heard a new Nashville tribute CD came out like the old one they did for Joseph Smith ya know but theres a new one for missionaries called The Work. Soooo maybe you guys could send it through emails and I can down load it on to my mp3 cool beans? January 24, 2012: Hello

Hey family... Well this past week was kind of weird. Last week Wednesday morning is when it started. At about 7:30 am I received a call from president Brough. I thought... Oh no.. what did I do now? And I was super nervous. On the phone he called to tell me that the Lord has called me to be a Trainer... Um... I know right hard for me to believe. Am I really ready... I guess so. He told me that the trainers have a meeting on friday. So that was crazy! I was in shock and really still am in shock. So tomorrow I will be getting my first (Son). Funny how that works two days before my nine month mark? haha hes a little early but he´ll be a cutie... Friday we had the meeting it was great. There is a new program for new bees and their trainers. Its called the first 12 weeks so I will be with him for two changes. Also its alot more studying! So I am really excited about that. 2 hours of companionship study that will be great. Also got a portable dvd player to watch the new movies that just came out on dvd haha no just kidding its to study  with my companion and watch training videos. So thats cool. I am really excited for this new program and the opportunity to train! The other thing was that both our baptisms fell.. It was really sad. President told me that when things like this happen its for the opportunity to learn. We need to learn something. The Lord is trying to teach us something so I have been really trying to figure out What I am suppose to learn from it. It made me really sad and I know they will be baptized here soon but Its still sad. That was the crazy sad weekend for me. And then yesterday to put the cherry on top. My district leader call to give us the changes. Of course my companion leaves tomorrow and I am training but then he sad that I have an Interview. Didnt really think anything of it. Just thought it was for training but Elder Lydikson called me, my zone leader, to ask how I felt about changes and I was like well good. Then he said you excited to be district leader? WHAT? haha He told me that my interview is to be district leader. because his companion is training and he doesnt have an interview so its for something like that haha. Sorry this is just a ramble on but It made me ten times more stressed for tomorrow. Im not even senor comp yet... But at the same time I am super excited for the opportunities I am going to have I have truly been blessed by the Lord. And I will do the best i can and be the best I can be for my new bee. I sure hope that I can teach him all I can! well that was my crazy week. May not seem super crazy but it was for me. Now im just nervous for tomorrow not really sure why. But Also excited! haha It will be super duper! hope I can do it! Well enough about me.. How are you all? I love you all so much! Keep me in your prayers I know im in em so keep up the good work! Thank you Grandma Jake for the Package I got it on friday and it was perfect I love beef jerkey ALOT really tasty! I hope you all are going so good! January 17, 2012: Hello

Well hello family. What a great picture of Britton hahaha I couldnt stop laughing. He is such a baller with his little backpack! Crazy he is going to preschool WHAT the world.. and little Brynlee couldnt be cuter I love those other pictures too! so good to see pictures! and Boston is sweet he is a great model. haha great stuff. Well Things are great here in the mission my comp leaves next week so that will be weird. These past two changes have gone really fast but they were great! We didnt have the success that I thought we would have or that I wanted to have but I feel like he will be going home more happy with his mission. and hopefully things that he learned from me! Im thankful for him as well. I learned great things from him as well! It was hard at times but we pulled through. We have baptisms this weekend so hopefully they come through so Elder Jimenez can end with baptisms! Im excited for that! Well yesterday for pday we went to the beach!! Not sure why but it made me really homesick! haha Thinkin of catchin family waves and just being at the beach with my fam! haha It was sad I almost shed a tear but It was cool to see the water.. hint SEE because we do enter as missionaries. hah But we played some american football so that was fun! I splash some water on my face.. that was nice.. it was nice to taste the pacific ocean again. haha and lets not forget.. YES i did get burnt! haha what can I say.. im white... some members called me a lobster and shrimp last night because I was so red haha But it was funny. Get well Grandma Moon hope all went well! January 10, 2012: Familia

Well Hello..

Welp still here in Guatemala loving life as a missionary. Things seem to be getting better here in this area. We will be having a couple baptisms here soon and I cannot wait. Its been TOO long for me.. haha But it will be good for Elder Jimenez to end with these baptisms. Either way he doesnt really care but I care. So sure hope they come through. Gotta love my comp though great kid. Home is so close he can taste it.. haha. Sunday everyone got their Liahonas and I took one of the members and flipped it open to a segment by Craig Merrill haha that was cool because I know him! I didnt know he could write in spanish.. haha thats a joke but let him know it was great in spanish as well! Sure is exciting that the house is filling back up! HOW FUN!! just like ol times eh.... But with girls.... sounds like a blast and let me get this straight like Mckenzie Powell? like the one I have a secret secret crush on still and that I still have hopes of marrying? haha Welp if shes living in my house shes gotta write me.. Right? let her know for me? thanks. Sure is exciting Mom and Dad get to go to the baby blessing. That sould be fun! I hope I get pictures! Well I love you all and sorry this is really short but the computer im on keeps losing power so i keep losing time haha oh well love you all and hope you all can feel my prayers cause I can sure feel all of yours. As well I know that our prayers are also answered. Although at times it takes a while but when we have faith in the timing of the Lord our prayers will be answered! Love you all and pray for you all

January 3, 2012: Family

Hola

Well Hello my family! How is everyone doing? I sure hope good! Im doing great! Weve been working hard down here! Its been pretty great! We will hopefully have 2 people ready for baptism at the end of this week! I really and hoping and praying! Keep on praying for us We can feel the prayers! I love you all so much! And your prayers help so much! I really feel blessing being poured out on me every single day! I love it! Being a missionary is awesome! Well Happy New Year!!!!!! Crazy that 2011 is over and now we are starting 2012! The end of the world!! OH NO!! haha Well its been real hot here in the coast! But gotta love it! Guess I gotta get used to it because i think ill be here til April.. I hope not but oh well!! David emailed me and his mom sent him boomarangs for Christmas and he said that he started a war in his Christmas party and he paid the price haha Ended up in a chilean hospital with a busted open eye. Get on my email if you want to see the picture its pretty funny! Thanks for the pictures dad! Looks like you all had some fun at the farm house for Christmas! Alex is B-E-A-UTIFUL!!!! She looks like her eyes are going to be lighter. ojos claros haha that awesome! I still think she looks like Molly Jane.. haha But she is quite the cutie.. Molly is as well! Well I love to see pictures so feel free to send them! haha Great stuff! Well I love this work and it doesnt get old! Its a new adventure everyday! My comp tells me how its just old and the same for him but I dont see it ever getting like that and It wont! He just has lost his mindset! Its okay cause we be working hard! Well I love you all and thanks for everything! Keep on being great! Oh yeah I also received Christmas cards from the Edgewood ward Christmas party! It was great we have a great ward! I also received some letters from our primary at the time of thanksgiving it was great! I gotta write the primary back! Well I love you all and I hope you all got my Christmas letters and forgot to ask is Julie and Zach ever got their Birthday letters? Welp Love you all and Happy New YEAR!!!!!!!!
