March 27 2012: Fam Bam

Hey Family

   Well this past week was... an alright week. I was SUPER sick. But im better now so thats good! I had a good Birthday I guess. The activity at the church was great! I was very pleased with the turn out. The Branch president did come of course but HEY who needs him! We had four families of investigators there and some members that absolutely loved it! Kept asking when are we going to do this again? haha so were going to do it again next week and watch the testaments! So that should be good! The members that were there talked with all the other members and told them how great it was so we were happy about that! 

   This weekend is General Conference!! YAY im super duper excited.. I dont know about you guys but it will be great! Should be fun with the parents of Jeffery. But Mom you can atleast be thankful im on my mission. You have one less thing to worry about. haha I wont be able to make the impression id would like to make because I am on my mission. haha If i was home itd be another story but we will leave Zach in charge of that haha he will do great! It should be great though! General Conference will be great as well! Sunday in between the sessions we will be having a huge baptismal service as a district! We will be having 3 baptisms that day so it should be great! We are really grateful and happy to be able to have baptisms this day. We are baptizing a family, Familia Peña. The family that we married on this past saturday! Great family. keep them in your prayers! Anywho should be a great weekend! 

   Well other then that its been rainning lots here. Kind of crazy. Rain season is already starting. Hopefully those shoes get here soon. I still have holes on the bottom of my shoes so my feet get soaked when the roads are even just a little wet! haha oh wells I love it. My toe is getting worse and worse. i keep putting alcohol on it and everything but its just really infected. I dont think its ingrown anymore just really infected I think but oh well Ill keep takin care of it and see what happens. Well I love you all and i hope you all are doing really good! I hope you all have a great Conference weekend! Listening to a living Prophet! I am real excited and know that This church is true. Keep on being great family! The Lord will bless you all!

March 20, 2012: Family

Hey family...

Well im just going to be honest. I am really sick. I probably wont write much. But I might just complain about my Branch. But Thank you all for the letters that I recieved. They helped me come a little out of my depression haha But Yeah I got sick sunday night and I still feel the same I have the worst headache in the world. It hurts so much that Ive been throwing up as well. I havent eaten anything so there is nothing to throw up.. sounds great I know. But I think the reason im really kind of depressed is because my branch is terrible. We found a golden family on friday and they came to church on sunday... But they didnt like it because of how irrevernt it was and how they didnt really feel the spirit I was so sad! BUT President Brough called this morning to tell me what to do. and He told me to tell the district president that they are going to pull the missionaries out of this branch if that ever happens again. So President brough will help out! Tomorrow is my Birthday and I organized a activity... The first activity ive seen in this branch. Still our branch president said hes not going to come haha oh well were are going to watch the joseph smith movie so that will be great! Well I love all of you and I dont mean to worry you but thank you all so much for the birthday letters... OH as well our baptism for this sunday... Yeah it fell as well... But I guess its thinngs that Im suppose to learn from. Well I love you all so much and thanks so much... I hope you all have a great celebration for my birthday tomorrrow!!! YAY!! thanks for all the pictures as well. dad and stef! Thats too funny Beckham has already learned about the best thing in the world.. March 13, 2012: Hola

Hola,

Hola como están? Chilero... Estoy feliz como siempre. Ahorita tengo hambre y no tengo muchas palabras pero les amo y les extraño! No se porque estoy hablando en español pero estabien eh? Estoy cansado de la linea roja porque ingles no esta correcto en esta computadora!.... ANYWHOOO... I guess ill speak english because of you chambones that done know spanish! haha just jokes. Well I love you all.. Yep I do! Thank you for your letters I love to get them! I sure hope I get the shoes.. The soonest ill get them is like april but thats okay because thats when zone conference is and when our packages will come. Here in the coast you usually get forgotten so... its sad but thats how it is when your so far away from the capital. But yeah things are good here I love my companion. Hes pretty much a gringo. When we have activities he would rather be with the gringos then the latinos. Hes awesome. Im trying to help him with his english alot cause he wants to learn it better right now is great but im going to help him more. We have great fun! But were really excited because we are going to marry a family them baptize them here soon and it should be great! Also as a mission were going to have a sunday of white the first of April and so that will be great right now we have a goal with a family for that day but please pray for them Family Camey-Chacón. They are great but the dad works alot so its hard to visit them sometimes but they a really want to be baptized so that should be great we be working hard but our branch is still just falling. Its just struggling but we try and try to help them but nothing changes. The president is just a chambone! haha Well i love you all and Ill send pictures next time of the museum we went to next week it was pretty cool!! Welp love you all and love this work! The church is true and our Lord and savior makes it possible for us to live happily ever after! Like Molly and Jeff! Dont stress about the wedding just do your best and it will be the best! haha great words from a great brother! eh? haha I dont know what to write anymore! I feel like cool things happen but I just forget them haha I just remembered one that ill tell to close my talk... (speaking of talks i gave one in church on sunday).. Anywho.. We were talking to a lady and with here kids at their door but then there kids were like coming our and just crazy and they were super funny but then while i was talking with the mom I felt like a rumble on my shoe and I look down and their 3 year old was peeing on me!! hahahahah I got peed on! and then found out it was on my pants later haha but it was funny he just started laughing and ran off but later he got the belt soo that wasnt good for him haha but anywho that was funny my comp and i had some great laughs at that! Well I love you all hope you can all laugh at that and stuff but I still have sent the letter for Stef but I will this week but happy birthday! I meant to send the letter to you for weeks but I will send it soooon haha Welp love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

March 6, 2012: Family

Hey Family!

Well things here in Guatemala are going good! Its already been one whole change of trainning 6 weeks left with Elder Flores. Its been great! We are working really hard! We had 12 investigators at church! Our prayers were answered! It was a great week in church. But still a family that we wanted to attend didnt come but thats okay! We are going to work really hard with them! We have a fecha for the 24th of march to marry and baptize a family that day! its going to be crazy and we are going to have to work really hard to get them married that day as well! But they are great, they are the family Peña. Good family! We are going to be praying like crazy! But as well we have some other great families that we can baptize this month! We just have to work a bit harder! Also for the first of april.. General Conference we are have a day of white. President wants that we have 100 baptisms that day atleast and that every companionship has a baptism that day! So we are going to be working hard for that as well But first the month of march. We are hoping for a lot of baptisms this month! Well its super hot here in the coast and its only going to get hotter I guess it has been soooo hot these past couple of days and I guess its just going to get hotter these next couple of months! OH NO.. haha oh well thats life! Its too hot though im not going to lie! haha But anywho.... Hows the family! I love you all so much and hope you are all doing super great. I hope Jeffey and Molly are just super cute and weird as an engaged couple... I hope Jake is studying hard and havent heard from zach in a while buttt I hope your great. Julie... I love you.. Stef and Michelle are just great moms have cute kids.. Mom I love you and know your doing great! Still going to the temple? Dad love you, hows the ward? Hows this Kris guy? thats so cool! I hope your not too busy! Grandmas! Just keep being great ladies that I love dearly! Love you all. On a side note.. I hope I get those new shoes soon I am so sick of having dirty feet!! Its so annoying and also my toe is infected again and is killing me. I think its from all this dirt so we should sue missionary mall.. But yeah my toe nail has grown back and now is in grown again but im just going to handle it. Even if I have to limp every where.. oh well! But anywho hopefully the shoes come soon. Time is FLYING!!!!!!! Help time to stop so I can think! Its already March! Happy Birthday Stef!!!! YAY... Crazy that after March comes April and Ive been gone a year!!! Still dont even know spanish.. haha Well just keep praying for me! I can feel the prayers but right now Im kinda over whelmed but I can do it! just gotta keep praying and trust in the Lord.... Love you all. Read the Book of Mormon and keep on being a great family! Also.... I would love some ideas for District meetings.. like activities that we can do and things like that! thatd be great! But love you all.
