February 28, 2012: YAY

YAY!!!!! Well I love you all.. Things are great here in Guatemala!!! I am so happy for Molly Jane!! Great work.. Im next?? haha nope.. Thats super great n stuff.. Well I dont really have much time because I want to send some pictures too! But I love you all! We are going to have quite the month of March I sure hope! Just need our investigators to come to church so please pray for them!! We are working so hard I love my comp and we are just tearin this area up. Its finally starting to realize what missionary work is! haha We are working real hard! I love you all and I am just PUMPed for Molly jane and its so great shes waiting till June 30th 2013 so I can be there!!! HAHAHA jokes but HEY NO BIG DEAL.. Ill be here baptizing a family on that day!! AHHH YOU BETCHA!!... Im so excited well I love you all and hope all is great for the family!! Love you Grandma Jake hope you are doing great! February 20, 2012: Family

Hey Family.

Well things are good here in Siquinala. We have some great families that are progressing really fast! They are super great but right now they are having a hard time getting to church. It seems like they are really excited to come but then something always happen or comes up but thats okay we will get them to church here soon and then we will baptize them like crazy! We have been doing alot of contacting lately. Its been super great. I forgot to tell you but as a mission like two weeks ago we put the goal to have 25 contacts everyday! So thats what weve been doing just contacting like crazy. At times its hard to get 25 in because we have a great day with lessons but its still expected so we have really been talking to people like crazy! When we get on buses now we stand up in front of the whole bus and talk to everyone! Its kind of crazy. Gotta love it though! This talking to alot of people has really helped as well. We have been finding people like crazy. and families too. So we are already seeing great results from the contacts that weve been doing everyday! We have been just working really hard. Getting lost in the work is what we are doing! Yep you betcha! We went to antigua yesterday. That was fun. We didnt really go to any ruins so I didnt take any cool pictures like that just of shopping n stuff but yeah it was fun! Well I love you all and hope you all are doing so well. Sounds like and looks like mom and dad had a lot of fun in Texas lucky! and molly gets to go to memphis? cool beans? You can go hang out with threesix mafia. and black people. HAHA and youll be the only ten I see haha cool stuff.. ANYwhoo love you all and hope your wildest dreams come true. It was great to hear from mom and dad, again. I love getting your emails so dont stop. It should just be a hint to other people that will read this email perhaps. Who knows. I sure dont im just in Guatemala being a missionary! February 14, 2012: Be Mine?

Hey family! How is everyone doing? Well that good! We had a good week this past week we were kind of sad because our baptism fell through but thats okay we will get him baptized here soon! haha But still just loving life as a missionary! couldnt be happier! The lord has truly blessed us with some great families that we will be able to baptize here soon! We have been working our butts off! Sometimes I just wanna cry haha. Ive been sick because it rained super duper hard and we just got soaked and now im sick and good luck to me getting rid of this cold! haha Oh well just got to work through it. At times I feel like im going to just die haha. But We be workin hard. We were so blessed to have two families in church this past sunday and it was super great! I am starting to like this area more and more. but at the same time I want to leave already haha but not til april but thats all good! I love it. and Well mom and dad look like they are having a blast in Texas. The family looks great Jake and Michelle thanks for the pictures. Britton in so big! and Brynlee is just super beautiful! Well I love you all and Happy Birthday Michelle tomorrow!!!! HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! haha Love you all so much and sorry this is so short I was enjoying all the pictures I got thanks so much! Good to see pictures but.. here is a list of things id like... Pocket size book of mormon one for me and my comp if you can. and if they have pocket sized ones in spanish some of those as well. they are called El Libro de Mormon haha as well a smaller spanish bible im sick of halling my big one around maybe they have a pocket size bible in spanish? I dont know just wondering how small bibles can get? haha and also my comp wants a pocket size Preach My Gospel but in spanish and I think the BYU bookstore does them or something his birthday is in april so it would be a good birthday present for him haha and one for me! but the ones in spanish! I LOVE YOU ALL and hopefully you can do something with that list? I saw some pocket size book of mormons and I wanted it haha ANYWHO I LOVE YOU and MUCH LOVE!!! The Church is true! Dont forget it...

February 7, 2012: Family

Well Hello everyone.. Como están? I love this work! I couldnt be happier right now! I love being a missionary and I am so blessed! It was so good to read all the things people said to me at the super bowl. That was super great! Chase told me when I get back all of our family and his family are going to come back and so you should tell him that I think that sounds like a fantastic idea! That would be awesome! Its crazy to think how long Ive been out. It kind of makes me sad that its gone sooo super fast and people tell me after a year it just goes faster! I feel like I have no time! Its crazy. I feel like time is just running and I cant catch up with it! I am loving training though. I dont even feel like Im training him. We just go to work and we work hard! I love it! He gets nervous sometimes though its funny. But I love him. I feel like I am learning more from him than he is from me! haha Its great! I love it!! Gave my second district meeting today! It was great I invented a game. I dont think anyone else found it fun but it was a blast for me! haha The results were everyone wins so it was great! I am really enjoying being able to serve as District leader! I love it. My district consists of the Zone leaders and another pair of missionaries and its super great! Well enough about me.

Send him my love and tell him to write me or get me his address and I wanna write him before he leaves! Well we have a great family that we are hoping to be baptized this month called the family Flores! The dad lost his leg in an accident but he is super great and so we are really hoping to have them be baptized here soon! We are finding like crazy right now! I think this area is going to open up big time for us and we will be making this branch into a ward here soon haha but we will see! I was looking forward to an email from Molly Jane she said she was going to write me to tell me something but it must have gotten lost? But hey Great times. Glad to hear Jeff is doing great from Mom and Dad. It really sounds like hes dropped being a Lakers fan so we can love him now? But correct me if im wrong.... HAHAHA Ive loved Jeffery bear since the beginning. First time I saw him I thought he was super cute and was great Home Teacher for my Sister Molly Jane... haha Hope you all know that I loved him before all of you.. ANYwho Love you all and I love this work. Our Lord and Master Jesus Christ is guiding and directing his work here in Guatemala. President Brough is an inspired man and I love to learn from him I love him and his wife so much! Filled with nothing but love! Gotta Love it! We had a big 2 day meeting with all the leaders this passed week and we learned a whole bunch from him! I loved it lucky me I was able to go! haha Well i love you all and i hope you all are doing fantastic. I hope my little sobrinos are all doing fantastic. I hate to say this but they are who I think about the most.. haha Well Love you all and hope to hear from you all more as well! Welp keep on being great! January 31, 2012: Family!!

My Beloved family! How is everyone doing? I sure hope good. I am doing just FANTASTIC and couldnt be loving life more then I am right now. Super happy and loving the work of the Lord. I have a new companion now. Elder Flores. He is from El Salvador! And yes he is mijo, mi hijo, or my son.. HAHA I had him at nine months.. Kinda weird how that works huh? haha Well actually he was early. He came two days early of my nine month mark! haha and well he is AWESOME. I love him with all my heart and we work real hard together! We havent really had a normal day to work yet but its been great working together! Last Jueves was a our first day together and I went on divisions to the mission offices for a meeting of the new District leaders. Not sure why.. haha Oh because im a new district leader. I know kind of weird i still dont believe it but I have truly been blessed by the Lord to be able to serve as District leader and Trainer and the for got to relieve me as the retention leader as well so for right now I have three assignments hahaha.. But im alright to do all three it will be great but alot of stress perhaps haha! But anywho thursday was full with that meeting so that was sad couldnt work with him that much that day friday and saturday. I had my first two baptismal interviews! Wow crazy.. haha I was super nervous! But when I was in the actual interview it was super great. The two of them were super ready to be baptized so it was an honor to conduct their interviews! Great stuff! Well yesterday was another meeting in the offices and so that was fun with all the new missionaries but we didnt get Pday but oh well. haha Then tomorrow we have meetings for leaders and thursday so we arent going to get a normal day together until friday! kind of sad but that life I guess! cant wait! Well I am loving being a missionary and couldnt be happier! Hope you all are doing so well and hope you all know I love you all so much and I hope to hear from you all super soon.... Not sure why but I feel like this weekend youll write? maybe its because of some kind of football game.. Well I guess im thankful for the super bowl because you all right missionaries this day! yay! haha well Kind of crazy this past week and this week that im about to have so wish me luck and pray for my investigators I have a enough blessings for now haha Love you all and also Today was my first District meeting! I talked about Diligence! Gotta be diligent always! Love you all and pray for you all! Dont worry about packages. They are nice but its not something to stress over! I love you all though! But if you could I heard a new Nashville tribute CD came out like the old one they did for Joseph Smith ya know but theres a new one for missionaries called The Work. Soooo maybe you guys could send it through emails and I can down load it on to my mp3 cool beans? January 24, 2012: Hello

Hey family... Well this past week was kind of weird. Last week Wednesday morning is when it started. At about 7:30 am I received a call from president Brough. I thought... Oh no.. what did I do now? And I was super nervous. On the phone he called to tell me that the Lord has called me to be a Trainer... Um... I know right hard for me to believe. Am I really ready... I guess so. He told me that the trainers have a meeting on friday. So that was crazy! I was in shock and really still am in shock. So tomorrow I will be getting my first (Son). Funny how that works two days before my nine month mark? haha hes a little early but he´ll be a cutie... Friday we had the meeting it was great. There is a new program for new bees and their trainers. Its called the first 12 weeks so I will be with him for two changes. Also its alot more studying! So I am really excited about that. 2 hours of companionship study that will be great. Also got a portable dvd player to watch the new movies that just came out on dvd haha no just kidding its to study  with my companion and watch training videos. So thats cool. I am really excited for this new program and the opportunity to train! The other thing was that both our baptisms fell.. It was really sad. President told me that when things like this happen its for the opportunity to learn. We need to learn something. The Lord is trying to teach us something so I have been really trying to figure out What I am suppose to learn from it. It made me really sad and I know they will be baptized here soon but Its still sad. That was the crazy sad weekend for me. And then yesterday to put the cherry on top. My district leader call to give us the changes. Of course my companion leaves tomorrow and I am training but then he sad that I have an Interview. Didnt really think anything of it. Just thought it was for training but Elder Lydikson called me, my zone leader, to ask how I felt about changes and I was like well good. Then he said you excited to be district leader? WHAT? haha He told me that my interview is to be district leader. because his companion is training and he doesnt have an interview so its for something like that haha. Sorry this is just a ramble on but It made me ten times more stressed for tomorrow. Im not even senor comp yet... But at the same time I am super excited for the opportunities I am going to have I have truly been blessed by the Lord. And I will do the best i can and be the best I can be for my new bee. I sure hope that I can teach him all I can! well that was my crazy week. May not seem super crazy but it was for me. Now im just nervous for tomorrow not really sure why. But Also excited! haha It will be super duper! hope I can do it! Well enough about me.. How are you all? I love you all so much! Keep me in your prayers I know im in em so keep up the good work!
