June 12th, 2012: FAMM

Hello Family

   Well this past week was AWESOME. We had a great week. Working really hard! I was very happy. We were able to find 20 new investigators and 5 new families!! WHOOOOO.. One of them came to church soo you know what that meanss 3 weeks and they are in the water!!! YOU BETCHA! I had a nice surprise in my district meeting today! President Brough and his Wife!! YAY hah it was great! I was at first way nervous when he called me and told me that they were coming but then after I felt confident because what I had prepared was great! I talked about the charity and Diligence.. My favorite topics... haha Yeah It was great! I loved it! He gave me a good compliment at the end and he added his thoughts it was great! I was very happy. I would love to have him in every district meeting now! haha But anywho.. Things are great though. My companion still is having a hard time getting used to the area and he still doesnt talk but thats alright. I love him to death!! Funny story I would like to tell.... sooo the other night while I was talking on the phone. I heard my companion say OUCH really loud I wasnt sure what happend but i just kept talking on the phone next thing I know he comes out of the bathroom with blood gushing out of his finger and I was Like what in the world did you do.. He says I was playing with your pen thing! I was like what pen thing I go into our room and he had been playing with my Epi pen. He didnt know what it was. And managed to shoot it through his finger nail!! Lets just say he isnt the sharpest tool in the shed and I just told him welp gotta learn somehow not to play with my things.. He didnt sleep that night.. Not sure because of the pain or because of the adrenaline got into his blood a bit!! haha It was crazy. Poor guy hes got a big hole in his nail now haha.  Anywho I gotta go...

This letter came today from Elder Moon's Mission President's wife Sister Brough!

This is just a quick note. President Brough and I had the opportunity this morning to attend a district meeting that your son is the leader of. Can I just say what an amazing young man you have raised. He taught and conducted the meeting so well. The spirit was strong and the district is very united. Elder Moon is a wonderful servant of the Lord. He is doing fantastic!!!!

Thank you for sending such a great young man. He truly is  a great addition to our mission. We love him with all our heart.

June 5th, 2012: Fam

Family
   Well I am in my new area! Its super difficult. I dont know ANYONE! I contacted a bishop on the bus. I was like have you ever talked to missionaries before and he was like a few.. I am a bishop of one of the wards here in chimaltenango! Haha It was funny but oh well!  I am super stressed! But we had another baptism on saturday!!  His name is  Luis Jimenez he is super awesome! Although we only taught him one thing but we were able to help him be baptized! Well I dont have much to say this week thank you for all the emails! I hope you all are doing sooo great! I feel like I need to share more things with all of you but I just dont know what!  I love life as a missionary and I am so thankful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ the chance that we get to change through repentance and baptism! this Gospel is perfect! I love the Lord and Savior. Our Master! I rely on him  for all that I do. Without Him I would be so lost!  I am so very thankful for such a great family like you all! I am so blessed to be able to call you all my family! ITs the best because we are all best friends as well!!  Thank you all so much and  Dad keep on helping your friend as much as you can!! What a great experience for you! I wish I had some experiences with the missionaries before the mission! Missionary work is the best! And we are all Missionaries forever and ever!!! Well love you all!!!!!!
